Some shapes never needed reinventing. Halliday borrows the keyhole bridge and softened round eye that have defined understated eyewear for a century, and renders them in a translucent acetate that catches light without demanding it. The result is a frame that looks inherited rather than bought — the kind you'd assume had been in a drawer for years.

The acetate carries real depth, a colour that lives inside the material rather than sitting on top of it. The temples close on a clean hinge; the nose pads sit easy. Tinted lenses cut glare on bright days and lend the whole thing a worn-in, off-duty ease. It pairs as naturally with a linen trouser and bare ankle as it does with a collar and tailoring.
